The method

Will OOPS actually work for me?

Do I need Notion to use the LEGOS system?

No. The five folders work in any tool. Google Drive, Asana, paper, your computer’s file system, even your phone’s notes app. The folders are the method; the tool is just the container.

How is OOPS different from Building a Second Brain (BASB)?

BASB’s PARA framework bundles personal growth and business projects into a single “Projects” folder. OOPS separates them. Elevate (personal) is its own folder, distinct from Launch (business with a finish line). That separation lets you see whether you’re over-invested in business and under-invested in yourself.

Is this just GTD with new vocabulary?

No. GTD sorts by next physical action. OOPS sorts by life-mode. GTD’s weekly review takes 90 minutes. The OOPS Sunday Operator Review takes 20. GTD treats your life as a task list. OOPS treats it as a system you operate.

Will this work if I have ADHD?

Yes. Students with ADHD have reported the 5-folder model is the first system they’ve stuck with, because it sorts by type of thing, not by when it’s due. Decision fatigue drops because every input has an obvious home.

What if I’m not an entrepreneur?

The system was designed for entrepreneurs but works for anyone managing more than they can hold in their head. Solo creators, freelancers, executives, parents juggling work and family. The avatars are flexible.

Timeline

How fast does it work?

How long until I feel the difference?

Immediately for the ONE principle. The first time you reduce overwhelm to a single next action, the racing-mind loop breaks. 1 to 2 weeks for the LEGOS folders to feel natural. 30 days for the Sunday review to become automatic. 90 days for the operator identity to feel like default.

How long does it take to complete the course?

You can watch the core content in a single weekend. Most students take 2 to 4 weeks to actually implement the 5 folders into their existing tools and build the Sunday review habit.

Do I have to start over with my existing systems?

No. LEGOS is a re-sorting layer. You keep your tools. You re-sort what’s already in them into the 5 folders. Most students complete the first sort in a single Sunday afternoon.
